According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the export of iron ores (HS Code: 2601) in December 2024 reached 1.1 mln metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the export grew by 657.2 thsd metric tons (2.6 times).
Year-on-year, the export of iron ores dropped by 95.3 thsd metric tons (-8.2%) compared to December 2023.
Two years ago, in the same month (December 2022), the export increased by 482.5 thsd metric tons (+82.7%).
YTD, the export of iron ores totaled 10.6 mln metric tons, which is 1.0 mln metric tons (-8.9%) less than last year's figure.
