According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2024, the export of iron ores (HS Code: 2601) totaled 892.5 thsd metric tons.
The export decreased by 211.3 thsd metric tons (-19.1%) compared to the previous month.
Compared to August 2023, the export of iron ores year-on-year decreased by 204.2 thsd metric tons (-18.6%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the export increased by 448.5 thsd metric tons (2.0 times).
Year-to-date, the export of iron ores totaled 7.4 mln metric tons, up by 13.6 thsd metric tons (remained nearly unchanged) compared to the previous year.
