Kazakhstan: Imports of unmanufactured tobacco for December 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of unmanufactured tobacco (HS Code: 2401) in December 2024 reached 2.7 thsd metric tons.

Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 61.2 metric tons (+2.3%).

In comparison to December 2023, the import of unmanufactured tobacco showed a year-on-year increase of 2.0 thsd metric tons (3.6 times).

Relative to the same month two years ago (December 2022), the import rose by 1.0 thsd metric tons (+60.0%).

The import of unmanufactured tobacco YTD amounted to 15.5 thsd metric tons, exceeding last year's value by 2.6 thsd metric tons (+20.5%).
