According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in February 2024, the import of unmanufactured tobacco (HS Code: 2401) amounted to 591.4 metric tons.

Compared to the previous month, the import dropped by 402.2 metric tons (-40.5%).

Year-on-year, the import of unmanufactured tobacco dropped by 621.9 metric tons (2.1 times) compared to February 2023.

Relative to the same month two years ago (February 2022), the import rose by 94.3 metric tons (+19.0%).

YTD, the import of unmanufactured tobacco totaled 1.6 thsd metric tons, which is 519.1 metric tons (-24.7%) less than last year's figure.
