Kazakhstan: Imports of unmanufactured tobacco for May 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of unmanufactured tobacco (HS Code: 2401) in May 2024 amounted to 1.3 K MT.

The import increased by 225.5 MT (+20.4%) compared to the previous month.

Compared to May 2023, the import of unmanufactured tobacco year-on-year increased by 265.5 MT (+24.9%).

The import grew by 269.1 MT (+25.3%) compared to the same month two years ago (May 2022).

YTD, the import of unmanufactured tobacco totaled 4.7 K MT, which is 171.4 MT (-3.5%) less than last year's figure.
