According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in July 2025, the import of unmanufactured tobacco (HS Code: 2401) totaled 2.3 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 775.6 metric tons (+51.9%).
Year-on-year, the import of unmanufactured tobacco rose by 1.5 thsd metric tons (2.8 times) compared to July 2024.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (July 2023), the import increased by 722.7 metric tons (+46.7%).
The YTD import of unmanufactured tobacco reached 10.5 thsd metric tons, increasing by 4.1 thsd metric tons (+65.0%) compared to last year.
