According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of unmanufactured tobacco (HS Code: 2401) in March 2024 amounted to 638.1 metric tons.

Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 46.7 metric tons (+7.9%).

Compared to March 2023, the import of unmanufactured tobacco year-on-year decreased by 87.2 metric tons (-12.0%).

Compared to the same month two years ago (March 2022), the import decreased by 36.0 metric tons (-5.3%).

Year-to-date, the import of unmanufactured tobacco reached 2.2 thsd metric tons, down by 606.3 metric tons (-21.4%) compared to last year.
