Kazakhstan: Imports of cigars and cigarettes for December 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) in December 2024 amounted to 359.7 mln pcs.

The import dropped by 101.6 mln pcs (-22.0%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of cigars and cigarettes dropped by 81.1 mln pcs (-18.4%) compared to December 2023.

In comparison to the same month two years ago (December 2022), the import showed a decrease of 358.6 mln pcs (-49.9%).

Year-to-date, the import of cigars and cigarettes reached 5.2 B pcs, down by 12.8 B pcs (3.4 times) compared to last year.
