According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in April 2024, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) amounted to 361.5 mln pcs.

The import dropped by 333.7 mln pcs (-48.0%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of cigars and cigarettes declined by 8.5 mln pcs (-2.3%) compared to April 2023.

The import dropped by 126.6 mln pcs (-25.9%) compared to the same month two years ago (April 2022).

The import of cigars and cigarettes YTD amounted to 1.8 B pcs, exceeding last year's value by 500.8 mln pcs (+38.3%).
