According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) in September 2024 amounted to 470.2 M pcs.

Compared to the previous month, the import dropped by 75.1 M pcs (-13.8%).

In comparison to September 2023, the import of cigars and cigarettes showed a year-on-year increase of 34.1 M pcs (+7.8%).

In comparison to the same month two years ago (September 2022), the import increased by 83.8 M pcs (+21.7%).

The YTD import of cigars and cigarettes amounted to 4.0 B pcs, decreasing by 12.4 B pcs (4.1 times) compared to the same period last year.
