Ukraine: Imports of cigars and cigarettes for May 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2024, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) amounted to 152.8 mln pcs.

Compared to the previous month, the import dropped by 108.0 mln pcs (-41.4%).

In comparison to May 2023, the import of cigars and cigarettes showed a year-on-year decrease of 233.2 mln pcs (2.5 times).

Relative to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the import declined by 256.7 mln pcs (2.7 times).

Year-to-date, the import of cigars and cigarettes reached 834.7 mln pcs, down by 804.1 mln pcs (-49.1%) compared to last year.
