, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of bags and suitcases (HS Code: 4202) in May 2024 amounted to 3.1 mln pcs.
The import increased by 524.7 thsd pcs (+20.1%) compared to the previous month.
Compared to May 2023, the import of bags and suitcases year-on-year decreased by 4.4 mln pcs (2.4 times).
The import grew by 1.0 mln pcs (+47.3%) compared to the same month two years ago (May 2022).
Year-to-date, the import of bags and suitcases reached 9.8 mln pcs, down by 16.4 mln pcs (2.7 times) compared to last year.
