According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of artificial fabrics (HS Code: 5408) in June 2025 amounted to 104.6 mln m2.
Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 17.9 mln m2 (+20.7%).
In comparison to June 2024, the import of artificial fabrics showed a year-on-year decrease of 3.8 mln m2 (-3.5%).
The import grew by 35.1 mln m2 (+50.6%) compared to the same month two years ago (June 2023).
The YTD import of artificial fabrics reached 553.4 mln m2, increasing by 110.5 mln m2 (+24.9%) compared to last year.
