, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of flat rolled steel (HS Code: 7208) in July 2025 amounted to 34.7 thsd metric tons.
The import grew by 8.7 thsd metric tons (+33.4%) compared to the previous month.
Compared to July 2024, the import of flat rolled steel year-on-year increased by 21.1 thsd metric tons (2.6 times).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (July 2023), the import increased by 12.4 thsd metric tons (+55.7%).
The import of flat rolled steel YTD amounted to 177.3 thsd metric tons, exceeding last year's value by 3.2 thsd metric tons (+1.8%).
