, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2025, the import of flat rolled steel (HS Code: 7208) amounted to 34.0 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 754.1 metric tons (-2.2%).
The import of flat rolled steel year-on-year, compared to August 2024, grew by 12.2 thsd metric tons (+55.8%).
Relative to the same month two years ago (August 2023), the import rose by 5.0 thsd metric tons (+17.3%).
The YTD import of flat rolled steel reached 211.3 thsd metric tons, increasing by 15.3 thsd metric tons (+7.8%) compared to last year.
