According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of flatrolled steel (HS Code: 7210) in July 2025 amounted to 31.1 thsd metric tons.

Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 12.1 thsd metric tons (-28.0%).

Year-on-year, the import of flatrolled steel dropped by 3.1 thsd metric tons (-9.0%) compared to July 2024.

In comparison to the same month two years ago (July 2023), the import increased by 2.8 thsd metric tons (+9.8%).

YTD, the import of flatrolled steel amounted to 167.2 thsd metric tons, which is 22.3 thsd metric tons (+15.4%) more compared to the same period last year.
