The import grew by 2.2 K MT (+41.6%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of hot-rolled rods dropped by 2.5 K MT (-25.1%) compared to August 2023.

In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import showed a decrease of 2.4 K MT (-24.5%).

YTD, the import of hot-rolled rods totaled 67.9 K MT, which is 15.0 K MT (-18.1%) less than last year's figure.
