In comparison to August 2024, the import of hot-rolled bars showed a year-on-year increase of 46.5 thsd metric tons (2.4 times).
The import grew by 36.7 thsd metric tons (+85.5%) compared to the same month two years ago (August 2023).
YTD, the import of hot-rolled bars amounted to 643.4 thsd metric tons, which is 235.2 thsd metric tons (+57.6%) more compared to the same period last year.
