According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2024, the import of diesel engines (HS Code: 8408) amounted to 8.7 thsd pcs.
The import increased by 4.4 thsd pcs (2.0 times) compared to the previous month.
The import of diesel engines year-on-year, compared to August 2023, grew by 7.1 thsd pcs (5.6 times).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import increased by 7.0 thsd pcs (5.1 times).
YTD, the import of diesel engines amounted to 38.6 thsd pcs, which is 24.7 thsd pcs (2.8 times) more compared to the same period last year.
