According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of diesel engines (HS Code: 8408) in September 2024 amounted to 7.4 thsd pcs.
Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 1.3 thsd pcs (-15.1%).
In comparison to September 2023, the import of diesel engines showed a year-on-year increase of 6.3 thsd pcs (6.6 times).
Relative to the same month two years ago (September 2022), the import declined by 26.2 thsd pcs (4.6 times).
The YTD import of diesel engines reached 46.0 thsd pcs, increasing by 30.9 thsd pcs (3.1 times) compared to last year.
