According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of telephones (HS Code: 8517) in July 2025 reached 1.1 mln pcs.
The import increased by 298.7 thsd pcs (+39.6%) compared to the previous month.
Compared to July 2024, the import of telephones year-on-year increased by 469.3 thsd pcs (+80.3%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (July 2023), the import increased by 437.9 thsd pcs (+71.1%).
YTD, the import of telephones amounted to 5.6 mln pcs, which is 1.5 mln pcs (+34.8%) more compared to the same period last year.
