According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of electrical machinery (HS Code: 8543) in December 2024 amounted to 70.5 thsd pcs.

Compared to the previous month, the import dropped by 59.3 thsd pcs (-45.7%).

Year-on-year, the import of electrical machinery dropped by 699.5 thsd pcs (10.9 times) compared to December 2023.

Compared to the same month two years ago (December 2022), the import decreased by 50.0 thsd pcs (-41.5%).

YTD, the import of electrical machinery amounted to 3.3 mln pcs, which is 1.0 mln pcs (+44.0%) more compared to the same period last year.
