According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in December 2024, the import of cars (HS Code: 8703) amounted to 13.9 thsd pcs.
The import increased by 3.6 thsd pcs (+34.4%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of cars rose by 1.3 thsd pcs (+10.1%) compared to December 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (December 2022), the import increased by 4.1 thsd pcs (+42.0%).
The YTD import of cars amounted to 150.7 thsd pcs, decreasing by 6.4 thsd pcs (-4.1%) compared to the same period last year.
