According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2024, the import of medical instruments (HS Code: 9018) amounted to 68.1 mln pcs.
The import grew by 31.4 mln pcs (+85.4%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of medical instruments rose by 19.9 mln pcs (+41.3%) compared to May 2023.
Two years ago, in the same month (May 2022), the import increased by 46.2 mln pcs (3.1 times).
The YTD import of medical instruments reached 248.2 mln pcs, increasing by 24.8 mln pcs (+11.1%) compared to last year.
