According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the export of pig iron (HS Code: 7201) in April 2025 amounted to 120.2 thsd metric tons.
The export decreased by 180.8 thsd metric tons (2.5 times) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to April 2024, the export of pig iron showed a year-on-year increase of 64.5 thsd metric tons (2.2 times).
The export grew by 35.8 thsd metric tons (+42.5%) compared to the same month two years ago (April 2023).
The export of pig iron YTD amounted to 574.1 thsd metric tons, exceeding last year's value by 156.1 thsd metric tons (+37.4%).
