, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2025, the export of pig iron (HS Code: 7201) totaled 162.4 thsd metric tons.
The export increased by 42.2 thsd metric tons (+35.1%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the export of pig iron rose by 73.2 thsd metric tons (+82.1%) compared to May 2024.
Relative to the same month two years ago (May 2023), the export rose by 65.9 thsd metric tons (+68.2%).
The YTD export of pig iron reached 736.4 thsd metric tons, increasing by 229.3 thsd metric tons (+45.2%) compared to last year.
