Ukraine: Imports of confectionery for August 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2024, the import of confectionery (HS Code: 1704) totaled 1.4 thsd metric tons.

Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 1.1 metric tons (remained nearly unchanged).

Year-on-year, the import of confectionery declined by 35.2 metric tons (-2.5%) compared to August 2023.

Relative to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import rose by 332.6 metric tons (+31.3%).

The YTD import of confectionery amounted to 10.3 thsd metric tons, decreasing by 359.1 metric tons (-3.4%) compared to the same period last year.
