, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2024, the import of unmanufactured tobacco (HS Code: 2401) totaled 2.1 thsd metric tons.
The import dropped by 316.0 metric tons (-13.0%) compared to the previous month.
Compared to May 2023, the import of unmanufactured tobacco year-on-year increased by 852.7 metric tons (+67.8%).
Relative to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the import rose by 1.1 thsd metric tons (2.0 times).
The import of unmanufactured tobacco YTD amounted to 8.2 thsd metric tons, exceeding last year's value by 2.2 thsd metric tons (+35.9%).
