According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) in August 2024 reached 443.2 mln pcs.

Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 86.0 mln pcs (+24.1%).

Compared to August 2023, the import of cigars and cigarettes year-on-year increased by 85.5 mln pcs (+23.9%).

Compared to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import decreased by 459.3 mln pcs (2.0 times).

YTD, the import of cigars and cigarettes totaled 2.0 B pcs, which is 668.7 mln pcs (-25.4%) less than last year's figure.
