According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in July 2025, the import of electricity (HS Code: 2716) totaled 2.2 trln kWh.
The import increased by 5.8 bln kWh (+0.3%) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to July 2024, the import of electricity showed a year-on-year decrease of 5.9 trln kWh (3.6 times).
Two years ago, in the same month (July 2023), the import increased by 1.5 trln kWh (3.0 times).
YTD, the import of electricity totaled 18.9 trln kWh, which is 4.9 trln kWh (-20.5%) less than last year's figure.
