Ukraine: Imports of synthetic fabrics for May 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of synthetic fabrics (HS Code: 5407) in May 2024 reached 13.0 mln m2.

The import dropped by 2.8 mln m2 (-17.7%) compared to the previous month.

In comparison to May 2023, the import of synthetic fabrics showed a year-on-year decrease of 1.4 mln m2 (-9.6%).

Relative to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the import rose by 6.1 mln m2 (+87.7%).

YTD, the import of synthetic fabrics totaled 72.5 mln m2, which is 3.3 mln m2 (-4.4%) less than last year's figure.
