According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of tomatoes (HS Code: 702) in September 2024 amounted to 1.1 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 300.1 metric tons (+38.6%).
In comparison to September 2023, the import of tomatoes showed a year-on-year increase of 383.9 metric tons (+55.4%).
The import dropped by 391.4 metric tons (-26.6%) compared to the same month two years ago (September 2022).
The import of tomatoes YTD amounted to 76.4 thsd metric tons, falling by 3.0 thsd metric tons (-3.7%) compared to the previous year.
