Ukraine: Imports of flat rolled steel for August 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of flat rolled steel (HS Code: 7208) in August 2024 amounted to 39.1 thsd metric tons.

The import grew by 7.0 thsd metric tons (+21.9%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of flat rolled steel rose by 16.0 thsd metric tons (+69.2%) compared to August 2023.

Relative to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import rose by 26.8 thsd metric tons (3.2 times).

The import of flat rolled steel YTD amounted to 233.3 thsd metric tons, exceeding last year's value by 56.8 thsd metric tons (+32.2%).
