, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of bananas (HS Code: 803) in February 2024 amounted to 16.4 thsd metric tons.
The import dropped by 2.5 thsd metric tons (-13.2%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of bananas dropped by 282.7 metric tons (-1.7%) compared to February 2023.
Relative to the same month two years ago (February 2022), the import declined by 8.8 thsd metric tons (-34.9%).
YTD, the import of bananas amounted to 35.3 thsd metric tons, which is 2.3 thsd metric tons (+7.0%) more compared to the same period last year.
