According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of bananas (HS Code: 803) in March 2024 amounted to 23.2 thsd metric tons.
The import increased by 6.8 thsd metric tons (+41.2%) compared to the previous month.
The import of bananas year-on-year, compared to March 2023, grew by 3.0 thsd metric tons (+14.7%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (March 2022), the import increased by 14.6 thsd metric tons (2.7 times).
Year-to-date, the import of bananas totaled 58.4 thsd metric tons, up by 5.3 thsd metric tons (+9.9%) compared to the previous year.
