Ukraine: Imports of bananas for April 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of
Ukraine
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of bananas (HS Code: 803) in April 2024 amounted to 18.9 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import dropped by 4.2 thsd metric tons (-18.2%).
The import of bananas year-on-year, compared to April 2023, grew by 640.3 metric tons (+3.5%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (April 2022), the import showed a decrease of 289.2 metric tons (-1.5%).
YTD, the import of bananas amounted to 77.4 thsd metric tons, which is 5.9 thsd metric tons (+8.3%) more compared to the same period last year.
