, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2024, the import of bananas (HS Code: 803) totaled 10.5 thsd metric tons.
The import decreased by 1.5 thsd metric tons (-12.5%) compared to the previous month.
Compared to August 2023, the import of bananas year-on-year decreased by 1.7 thsd metric tons (-13.7%).
Two years ago, in the same month (August 2022), the import increased by 2.4 thsd metric tons (+30.3%).
The YTD import of bananas amounted to 130.3 thsd metric tons, decreasing by 6.0 thsd metric tons (-4.4%) compared to the same period last year.
