, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of bananas (HS Code: 803) in May 2025 amounted to 23.8 thsd metric tons.
The import increased by 5.0 thsd metric tons (+26.8%) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to May 2024, the import of bananas showed a year-on-year increase of 3.9 thsd metric tons (+19.7%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (May 2023), the import increased by 2.5 thsd metric tons (+11.5%).
The import of bananas YTD amounted to 106.1 thsd metric tons, exceeding last year's value by 8.8 thsd metric tons (+9.1%).
