, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2024, the import of bananas (HS Code: 803) amounted to 3.6 thsd metric tons.
The import increased by 665.2 metric tons (+22.6%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of bananas rose by 476.7 metric tons (+15.2%) compared to August 2023.
The import grew by 529.7 metric tons (+17.2%) compared to the same month two years ago (August 2022).
The import of bananas YTD amounted to 39.2 thsd metric tons, exceeding last year's value by 6.8 thsd metric tons (+21.0%).
