According to data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of smoking tobacco (HS Code: 240319) in April 2024 reached 481.8 MT.

The import increased by 18.7 MT (+4.0%) compared to the previous month.

The import of smoking tobacco year-on-year, compared to April 2023, grew by 172.6 MT (+55.8%).

In comparison to the same month two years ago (April 2022), the import increased by 321.6 MT (3.0 times).

The YTD import of smoking tobacco reached 1.8 K MT, increasing by 465.9 MT (+34.0%) compared to last year.
