According to data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of smoking tobacco (HS Code: 240319) in August 2024 amounted to 567.7 MT.

Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 114.3 MT (-16.8%).

The import of smoking tobacco year-on-year, compared to August 2023, grew by 83.5 MT (+17.2%).

In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import showed a decrease of 114.0 MT (-16.7%).

The import of smoking tobacco YTD amounted to 3.9 K MT, exceeding last year's value by 790.5 MT (+25.3%).
