Azerbaijan: Imports of synthetic fabrics for August 2024

According to data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2024, the import of synthetic fabrics (HS Code: 5407) totaled 8.7 mln m2.

The import increased by 452.3 thsd m2 (+5.5%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of synthetic fabrics dropped by 5.1 mln m2 (-37.1%) compared to August 2023.

In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import increased by 32.9 thsd m2 (+0.4%).

YTD, the import of synthetic fabrics totaled 68.3 mln m2, which is 10.2 mln m2 (-13.0%) less than last year's figure.
