Azerbaijan: Imports of synthetic fabrics for September 2024

According to data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of synthetic fabrics (HS Code: 5407) in September 2024 amounted to 9.7 mln m2.

Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 1.0 mln m2 (+11.6%).

Year-on-year, the import of synthetic fabrics rose by 1.3 mln m2 (+16.1%) compared to September 2023.

Two years ago, in the same month (September 2022), the import increased by 1.6 mln m2 (+19.7%).

The YTD import of synthetic fabrics amounted to 78.0 mln m2, decreasing by 8.9 mln m2 (-10.2%) compared to the same period last year.
