Azerbaijan: Imports of synthetic fabrics for August 2025

According to data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of synthetic fabrics (HS Code: 5407) in August 2025 reached 5.6 mln m2.

Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 682.0 thsd m2 (+13.8%).

In comparison to August 2024, the import of synthetic fabrics showed a year-on-year decrease of 3.0 mln m2 (-35.0%).

In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2023), the import showed a decrease of 8.1 mln m2 (2.4 times).

Year-to-date, the import of synthetic fabrics reached 54.7 mln m2, down by 13.6 mln m2 (-19.9%) compared to last year.
