According to data from the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2024, the import of electric motors (HS Code: 8501) amounted to 34.4 thsd pcs.

Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 11.6 thsd pcs (+51.3%).

Year-on-year, the import of electric motors rose by 19.7 thsd pcs (2.3 times) compared to May 2023.

Relative to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the import rose by 22.8 thsd pcs (3.0 times).

The import of electric motors YTD amounted to 276.8 thsd pcs, exceeding last year's value by 110.0 thsd pcs (+65.9%).
