According to data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in July 2024, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) totaled 938.1 mln pcs.

The import decreased by 110.2 mln pcs (-10.5%) compared to the previous month.

In comparison to July 2023, the import of cigars and cigarettes showed a year-on-year increase of 26.6 mln pcs (+2.9%).

The import grew by 185.1 mln pcs (+24.6%) compared to the same month two years ago (July 2022).

The import of cigars and cigarettes YTD amounted to 5.7 B pcs, exceeding last year's value by 234.3 mln pcs (+4.3%).
