According to data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) in April 2025 reached 971.2 mln pcs.

The import decreased by 87.8 mln pcs (-8.3%) compared to the previous month.

Compared to April 2024, the import of cigars and cigarettes year-on-year increased by 328.6 mln pcs (+51.1%).

Relative to the same month two years ago (April 2023), the import rose by 236.6 mln pcs (+32.2%).

YTD, the import of cigars and cigarettes totaled 2.8 B pcs, which is 66.6 mln pcs (-2.3%) less than last year's figure.
