Ukraine: Imports of cigars and cigarettes for September 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) in September 2024 reached 619.8 mln pcs.

The import increased by 176.6 mln pcs (+39.8%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of cigars and cigarettes declined by 205.1 mln pcs (-24.9%) compared to September 2023.

Relative to the same month two years ago (September 2022), the import declined by 410.6 mln pcs (-39.8%).

YTD, the import of cigars and cigarettes totaled 2.6 B pcs, which is 873.7 mln pcs (-25.3%) less than last year's figure.
