Ukraine: Imports of cigars and cigarettes for December 2024

According to data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in December 2024, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) amounted to 307.7 mln pcs.

The import grew by 1.2 mln pcs (+0.4%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of cigars and cigarettes dropped by 86.0 mln pcs (-21.8%) compared to December 2023.

In comparison to the same month two years ago (December 2022), the import showed a decrease of 180.8 mln pcs (-37.0%).

The YTD import of cigars and cigarettes amounted to 3.5 B pcs, decreasing by 929.4 mln pcs (-20.8%) compared to the same period last year.
