Kazakhstan: Imports of cigars and cigarettes for October 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in October 2024, the import of cigars and cigarettes (HS Code: 2402) amounted to 440.7 mln pcs.

The import dropped by 29.4 mln pcs (-6.3%) compared to the previous month.

Compared to October 2023, the import of cigars and cigarettes year-on-year decreased by 64.2 mln pcs (-12.7%).

In comparison to the same month two years ago (October 2022), the import showed a decrease of 405.6 mln pcs (-47.9%).

The YTD import of cigars and cigarettes amounted to 4.4 B pcs, decreasing by 12.4 B pcs (3.8 times) compared to the same period last year.
